Panigale V4 Extended Swingarm
This modification arises from the need to ensure greater vehicle stability during both braking and acceleration phases, as well as a more controllable and progressive feel when exiting corners.
Swingarm Extension: Machined Extension for a 35 mm Increase
To achieve this objective, we decided to extend the swingarm with a machined extension, allowing for an additional 35 mm length.
Swingarm Processing: Paint Stripping, Cutting, and CNC Preparation for Extension Insertion
The swingarm is stripped of paint and then cut.
The remaining parts are CNC-machined to allow the insertion of the extension on both ends.

Production and Welding of Swingarm Components
Manufacturing the Extension and Reinforcement Sheets
We produce the components that will be welded to the swingarm: the machined extension and the laser-cut, bent, and stamped reinforcement sheets.
Once everything is ready, welding can begin!
Welding and Cooling of the Swingarm in the Welding Jig
The swingarm is fully welded inside its welding jig.
After welding is complete, a specific cooling time, depending on various factors, must be respected before removing the swingarm from the jig.
Inspection and Dimensional Control of the Swingarm
Only after performing a thorough inspection with penetrant liquids to ensure there are no defects along the weld seams, do we proceed with dimensional control using the CAM2® ScanArm device, with 3D scanning and tactile measurement.
Preparation and Protection of the Swingarm for Painting
It is now ready for painting. However, it must first be properly protected.
Here it is, ready to be mounted on the bike!
For those who prefer, it is possible to forgo the painting and receive the component fully hand-brushed, as seen in racing.
Included is the specially made chain sliding shoe.
